  1. The importance of wearing a Hijab can vary from person to person. To one muslim wearing the Hijab may be extremely important but to another muslim it may not be important. Some muslim women may feel the need to wear the Hijab whereas others maybe just want to wear the headscarf. I believe that the importance of a Hijab can not be measured and the importance can only be measured by the individual wearing the Hijab.

  2. Although some women do not wear the Hijab, this does not mean to say that it is not important to those that do. Islam teaches that both men and women should dress modestly, and for women this means all parts of her body apart from her hands, feet and face should be covered. Many women that wear the Hijab say it makes them feel protected but also confident. The Hijab must be important if it gives women that confidence.

  3. I think that it depends on your upbringing and how religious you are, some people wear them because it's important to them and because they want to wear them, whereas others may not wear them but they still believe in their religion.I believe that just because you don't wear it, it doesn't mean it's not important, because it is to some people.

  4. I think that it is up to the person to say if it is important or not. Some women chose to wear the Hijab because the want to be accepted into a community or they just simply want to wear it. Other think that it is not necessary to wear one as it doesn’t say anything in the Qur’an it just says that they should be modest when out in public. Some where just the headscarf and some wear the full Hijab and other don’t. it is up to the wearer what they chose to do.

  5. Muslim women wear the Hijab because people are unable to judge you by appearance but they are evaluated by the individuals’ personality and morals. Many Muslim women do not choose to wear the Hijab does not make them an immoral Muslim, or does not make them inferior or out casted in the Muslim community .In conclusion the importance of wearing the Hijab cannot be decided on a non Muslim, however can only be decided on the Muslim who wants or does not want to wear the Hijab.

  6. No i do not agree because the Hijab is a part of many muslim womens life. To some it may be seen as compulsory, to other free choice. All muslim women have the free choice to wear a Hijab or not. The Hijab may not be important to all muslims, but to some it could be very important as they believe that they should save themselves for they're husbands.
